The course qualifies nurses to understand and maintain a high standard of care for soldiers under the conditions that apply within the Danish Defence. Participants also gain insight into the structure of the Defence and an understanding of the Defence Medical Doctrine.

Review of MASCAS and triage in accordance with NATO doctrine

FSK-170 Nurses in the Defence, Basic Course, is part of the basic training programme for nurses who will serve in the Danish Defence.
