FSK 102 GRUNDFØR (Basic Tactical Leadership) is part of the Military Medical Officer Programme.
The student gains an understanding of the principles behind the tactical analysis model and the issuance of orders.
The purpose of the course is to place the military physician at the centre as the medical leader — responsible for patient treatment within a tactical environment, including the ability to make decisions and take decisive action under pressure and under significant strain on the treatment facility’s resources.
The theoretical curriculum is taught through team-based instruction, where students gradually work their way through the military medical analysis of a tactical task, ultimately developing and delivering a comprehensive plan to the rest of the personnel.
The course concludes with scenario-based training grounded in operational experience from the Army and the Navy — and possibly with participation from medical and health-care personnel from Defence units.
