Information Meeting

Information Meeting

The Defence Medical Command will hold an information meeting regarding the Military Medical Officer Programme (Reserve Doctor Programme) on Tuesday, 26 May 2020, from 17:00 to approximately 20:30.

Registration should be sent to FSK-P-KPU05@MIL.DK no later than Sunday, 10 May, for catering and access control purposes.

Please provide the following information when registering:

  1. (Expected) graduation date
  2. Date of completion of KBU/INTRO
  3. Preferred start time for the Military Medical Officer Programme (Reserve Doctor Programme) in the Defence (begins once a year at the end of January)
  4. Whether you have previously attended an information meeting

You must be prepared for a 24-month contract consisting of two main elements:

  • 5–6 months of training at the Defence Medical Command’s training centre in Åbyhøj

  • 18 months of medical service, consisting of deployments on Navy vessels, infirmary duty at Defence Medical Command infirmaries, SAR shifts, and potentially 2–3 months of international service if Denmark continues participating in missions, as well as exercises, smaller study and development tasks, and teaching duties

he meeting will take place at the Defence Medical Command’s training centre in Åbyhøj/Aarhus. Here, you will receive a thorough briefing on the programme and medical service within the Defence. You will also be informed about the application process and selection test.
