Covid-19 Update
The Center for Health and Medical Service Education (CSS) follows the guidelines of the Danish First Aid Council. Please be aware that local guidelines may apply and may be more restrictive.
It is always the instructor’s responsibility to ensure that the guidelines are followed and that proper hygiene principles are upheld, which in brief means:
-
Each user of simulation mannequins must use their own face shield.
-
The lung bag must be replaced after each lesson if it is a lung bag with an integrated one-way valve (as on Little Anne). If you use other CPR mannequins, you must ensure that they have a one-way valve; if not, it must be replaced after each participant.
-
Equipment must be sanitised before and after use.
-
The instructor must ensure that participants wash their hands frequently and use hand sanitiser.
-
There must be 4 m² of floor space per participant.
-
Masks must be worn where distance requirements cannot be maintained.
We have updated our guidelines as of today. If you are subscribed to the newsletter, you will receive the update. If you have access to FIIN, you can find the latest version under “news” on the intranet.
